Overview
Risk Manager is an assistant expert advisor that enforces the risk rules you have set for yourself — so a bad day, an oversized lot or one trade too many can't quietly turn into a blown account. You attach it to any single chart and it supervises every open position across the terminal.
It watches risk on several horizons at once: per deal, per day, per week and per month. Limits can be expressed either in money or as a percentage of the account, whichever matches how you think about risk. Alongside drawdown limits you can cap the maximum allowable lot, the maximum number of orders per day, and set a profit target on account equity that closes everything once reached.
When a rule is breached the advisor acts immediately and tells you why. Open a sixth order when your plan allows five, and it deletes the extra order and shows the reason in an alert. Enter with a larger lot than you permitted yourself, and it removes the trade and explains the breach. Every action is accompanied by a clear message, so the tool teaches discipline rather than just blocking you silently.
It can also apply your default Stop Loss and Take Profit automatically when you enable the auto settings, so protective levels are never forgotten. Risk Manager runs quietly beside both discretionary and automated trading and never sends orders of its own — it only guards the ones you or your other EAs open.

How it works
- 1Attach Risk Manager to any one chart — it then monitors all open positions in the terminal, not just that symbol.
- 2Set your limits: acceptable loss per deal/day/week/month, the maximum lot, the maximum orders per day, and an optional equity profit target.
- 3Trade as usual, manually or with other EAs. Risk Manager checks each new order against your rules the moment it appears.
- 4If an order violates a rule it is removed and you receive an alert naming the breach; when a drawdown or profit threshold is hit, exposure is closed accordingly.
