How to buy a product on the MQL5 Market

A step-by-step walkthrough of purchasing an expert advisor, indicator or utility on the MQL5 Market and getting it into your MetaTrader terminal.

All SoftimoTrade products are distributed through the MQL5 Market — the official marketplace built into MetaTrader. Purchase, licensing and updates are handled by MQL5, so you never install a licence file by hand. Here is the full process.

1. Create a free MQL5 account

Go to mql5.com and register a free account. This is the same account that links your MetaTrader terminal to the Market, so it is worth setting up before you buy anything.

2. Connect the account inside MetaTrader

Open MetaTrader 4 or 5, go to Tools → Options → Community, enter your MQL5 login and password and click OK. Your terminal is now signed in to the Market.

3. Open the product on MQL5

From any product page on this site, use the View on MQL5 button — it opens the exact listing on the MQL5 Market in your locale. There you can read the full specification, see the current version and buy or rent the product.

4. Buy (or rent) the product

On the MQL5 listing, choose Buy for a permanent licence, or Rent where the seller offers it. Payment is processed by MQL5 using your account balance, a card or another supported method. A standard MQL5 licence lets you activate a number of computers/accounts defined by the seller.

5. Download it into your terminal

After purchase the product appears in MetaTrader under the Market tab of the Toolbox (open it with View → Toolbox if it is hidden), in the Purchased section. Click Install and it downloads straight into your terminal — no files to copy manually.

Most products include a free demo you can run in the Strategy Tester before you buy. If you are not sure a tool fits your setup, start there — see how to test the demo version.

Once installed, continue with how to install and run a product in MetaTrader. Still unsure? Message me on Telegram before buying — I'm happy to help you decide whether a product suits your account.
